Riggtekniker/Test rigg operator:
Vill du arbeta i några av Volvos mest avancerade provriggar? Power Systems Testing är en del av produktverifieringen inom utvecklingsorganisationen i Eskilstuna. Hos oss testas framtidens motorer och delsystem drivna av olika typer av bränslen såsom diesel och vätgas. Vi ansvarar för provning, riggutveckling och riggkonstruktion och arbetar genom hela produktlivscykeln i en snabbt utvecklande miljö med målet att ligga i framkant av produktutveckling.

Arbetsuppgifter:
Du blir en nyckelspelare i ett sammansvetsat team där vi utvecklar produkter, provmetoder och testmiljöer för framtiden.
Du kommer bland annat att:
Förbereda och genomföra prov, inklusive konfigurering av mät- och styrsystem och säkerhetsfunktioner.
Förstå och tolka riggens helhetssystem – från provobjekt till dynamometrar, sensorer, processutrustning och mätresultat – och agera på avvikelser.
Analysera provdata, övervaka trender och rapportera tekniska observationer till applikatörer.
Utföra in- och utriggning av motorer med hög noggrannhet och enligt provspecifikationer.
Utföra underhåll, service och enklare reparationer av utrustning samt stötta externa serviceinsatser.
Proaktivt förbättra riggarnas driftsäkerhet, arbetsflöden och provmetoder
Felsöka och analysera både motor och riggsystem – tillsammans med specialister.

Det här är en roll där du får kombinera teknik, logik, systemförståelse och praktiskt arbete i en avancerad provmiljö. Du arbetar med ett tydligt säkerhetstänk och samarbetar tätt med applikatörer, utvecklingsmekaniker och interna projekt.
Kvalifikationer och Erfarenhet
Teknisk gymnasie- eller eftergymnasial utbildning (el, automation, fordon, industri, mekatronik eller motsvarande praktisk erfarenhet).
Vana vid digitala verktyg, mät- eller styrsystem.
Förståelse för motorers uppbyggnad och funktion (eller stark vilja att lära sig just detta).
Erfarenhet från verkstad, motorarbete, rigg, labb eller testmiljö är meriterande.
Svenska och engelska i tal och skrift.

What you will do
As our Component Owner / Design Responsible within our Base Engine and Auxiliaries team, you will be responsible for working with technologies connected to internal combustion engine development. Who are you?
You have a university degree in finance and extensive experience from Financial Reporting and Accounting, as well as Internal Control. Experience from an audit firm at Senior Management / Management level and data analytics is an advantage. You have deep knowledge about Internal Control over Financial Reporting, with experience both from design, implementation and evaluating internal controls.
You have demonstrated well proven leadership and project management skills with a supportive approach, and you are good at building professional networks and relationships. You have the ability to lead in a decentralized global organizational structure and possess a high degree of integrity.

We are looking for a commercially driven Product Manager to join our Product Management team within the Parts and Uptime Center of Expertise. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and developing Volvo CE’s parts offering while driving sales performance across the European and International distribution network.
As Product Manager, you will define and execute product strategies in close collaboration with Market Areas, Regions, Technology, Purchasing, and other global functions. You will analyze spare parts performance, identify growth potential, initiate commercial activities, and actively manage product profitability and lifecycle performance.
You will be responsible for our Wear Parts portfolio, including Ground Engaging Tools, the Volvo Tooth System, and the Undercarriage assortment. The role includes developing competitive commercial offerings to maximize volume and profitability throughout the product lifecycle, identifying market needs, and translating them into actionable requirements across the organization. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new business models connected to recently launched technologies as well as our established parts portfolio.

Role description
Key responsibilities will include building strong relationship with our suppliers that creates benefits for both parties. You will be involved in evaluation and selection of suppliers, and the driver of APQP/PPAP activities for selected projects working close to our Technology organization. Your work will be focusing on engine performance development, calibration and optimization of the engines including engine aftertreatment systems to make sure it meets the targets of the product, such as emissions, power, torque, fuel consumption, and other related targets. The work is performed in engine test cells, virtual environment and in machines. 
Our engines are used in construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators and articulated haulers. The development is done in close cooperation between the engine projects and machine projects in global cross functional teams.
You will work in a network of people where you contribute with your competence, ideas and visions. You will be involved in projects from the initial stages to the maintenance phase after product launch.

* Champion ethical business practices through strong due diligence processes.
* Lead the way in promoting transparency with gifts & hospitality controls and oversee the anti-bribery and corruption program.
* Design, coordinate, and deliver engaging compliance training across the organization.
* Prepare high-impact compliance reports for senior management
* Actively support internal investigations with professionalism and integrity.
* Drive Volvo Group compliance initiative rollouts.

What You Bring

* At least five years of proven experience in compliance, legal, or risk management within a complex, international business environment.

What you will do

In this exciting role, you will lead and drive production engineering assembly, rig and painting for one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking operations in the Volvo Group. Your leadership will be key in helping us realize our vision to become the world’s best component factory. 
 You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our production management team, playing an important role in steering strategy, continuous improvements and innovations to strengthen our position as the leading manufacturer of axles and transmissions.  In the role of Manager for Production Engineering Assembly, Rig and Painting, you will be responsible for an experienced team of engineers who support daily production, drive the long-term development of our manufacturing processes, and ensure smooth introduction of new products. Your department plays a key role in several industrialization projects, both for the launch of new products and for transformation initiatives aimed at preparing our production for future demands. In the role as Global Partner support specialist, you will
Provide support for digital products and services and to Volvo CE end customers through Volvo Connect and connected services directly.
Provide support for digital products and services and to the Volvo CE dealer network.
Analyze problem issues in order to develop innovative resolutions at dealer and customer level.
Document dealer and customer feedback within the proper channels.
Assist in onboarding customer and dealers into the Volvo Connect Ecosystem

Main Tasks/Responsibilities/Authorities:
Support the Volvo CE end customers, dealer network and internal key users with digital products and services, including account and user configuration, troubleshooting and onboarding users to our products and services.
You will serve as first line support, resolving cases quickly or escalating to the proper team when the need arises.
Contribute with insight to the strategy & roadmap
Contribute to process & organizational development in all processes
Assist the regions in onboarding customers and dealers into the Volvo Connect Ecosystem and provide ongoing support afterward

What You Will Do?
As an instructor at the Volvo CE Customer Center, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience at the demo field. About the job

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead our financial operations globally within Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our operations, ensuring robust financial management, and providing strategic insights to support our holistic VCE business objectives, not just within Operations. As a member of the global operations management team, the Head of Finance will work collaboratively to educate and inform on the financial impacts of decisions making and has responsibilities beyond finance to drive overall operational success. 
The preferred location for this position is Eskilstuna, Sweden, where VCE's HQ is based, but it is possible to work from other VCE offices in various Swedish and European cities.


Key responsabilities

* Lead and manage the finance team within the operations department. This includes the site controllers and their teams that report to you via “dotted line”.
* Actively participate in the global operations team, working collaboratively to educate and inform on the financial impacts of decisions taken, fostering a culture of financial awareness and accountability.
* Develop and implement financial strategies to support operational goals and drive business growth.
* Own and drive the standard cost process, forecasting, and financial planning processes for Operations.
* Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to the Operations leadership team and relevant stakeholders withing the broader VCE Finance community.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
* Manage financial risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. Develop models for simulating downturn scenarios.
* Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.

* Ensure quality and compliance in investment appropriation requests and the investment process itself.



Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a senior financial management role within the construction or automotive industry. A strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations specific to these sectors is essential. In addition, the candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to the industry.
To be successful in this role, strong leadership and team management abilities are required. The candidate should be able to effectively lead a team, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining high standards. OES (Operator and Electronic System) is looking for an additional team player. We are a diverse group of engineers where one of our main responsibilities is to test and verify machine functionality. OES provide the building blocks for the complete Volvo CE machine range, from Wheel loaders to Excavators. Our job is to make sure that our software has the highest quality we can achieve.
We do this together, mainly in agile way of working, by supporting both large and small projects with planning and implementation of the verification activities such as: requirement review, test method development, creating test cases, test automation, test execution and provide test reports with the results.

Your key contributions
In this key role, you will manage and develop the operational agenda within VCE Technology in line with the company strategy to improve organizational efficiency. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate, implement, follow up and communicate specific initiatives and open actions from key governance forums throughout the organization. You will be a part of the global Technology Leadership Team of Volvo CE, where you will be contributing to the holistic strategic development of the global Technology organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, and under the umbrella of machine data, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable IoT architectures, selecting the most appropriate technologies and platforms to meet our needs. Ensuring the security and data privacy of our IoT solutions is paramount, and you will play a crucial role in this area. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during IoT deployments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Staying current with the latest trends and technologies in the IoT field will be essential, as you will be expected to integrate these advancements into our projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience in IoT architecture and solution design. You will need expertise in managing and analyzing large-scale distributed time-series databases within an IoT environment. Proficiency in programming languages for both IoT backend and frontend development is essential. Experience with IoT platforms, particularly Azure, is required. Additionally, familiarity with edge computing and AI/ML in IoT will be beneficial. A strong understanding of industrial IoT (IIoT) and Industry 4.0 concepts will be crucial for addressing the specific needs of our industry.

Du blir lyssnad på eftersom du kommer fram med fakta, analys och förslag på lösningar.
Du har mycket god kunskap om lagar, förordningar och krav inom arbetsmiljöområdet. Vi ser gärna att du har erfarenhet av att leda andra människor. Att du skriver och talar både svenska och engelska obehindrat är ett krav då du kommer ha både lokala samt globala kontakter. As a Solution Architect, I interface with customers and identify their needs. In my work, I’m responsible for delivering solutions that support business requirements, using various technologies, products, and platforms. I interact with integration software architects and engineers to provide the right solutions and expertise. In my work, I balance various aspects of the delivery, from end to end. Additionally, I research and advise the best digital & IT solutions for digital transformation projects and products. My expertise is a key component of successful digital transformation processes making them efficient and effective.

What you will do

As part of the API & Integrations team you will contribute to the transformation of our company. You will: 
* gather, review and analyze information and feedback on our digital products and commercial API business
* in collaboration with stakeholders across our business (incl. commercial, legal, governance and finance) gather and document requirements
* develop internal and external documentation
* take on the role of stream lead in projects and initiatives
* actively contribute as part of an agile team to sprint planning, prioritization and retrospectives
* conduct and follow up on testing of APIs and back-end solutions
* manage and perform API development quality assurance and governance
* communicate findings and suggestions to team members and other stakeholders

You will work closely with stakeholders across the Volvo Group to be in line with changing business needs. You will create the right environment for your team members to deliver value to the organization.

About the Role

Description of thesis


With the shift to electrification of our machines, the aim to increase the system efficiency becomes greater. The traction voltage system is an integration of multiple components connected via a junction box transferring power to drive the machine. In such a system one of the factors that will affect the efficiency is the EMI disturbance. This thesis aims to address the EMI disturbance that is succepted from each of the component in the 600 V traction system.


Objective and deliverables


To investigate the effect of conducted emission on component and system level for 600V electrical distribution system.
The primary derivable are as follows:
Literature survey to understand the current tools and methods used in EMC calculation
Analysis of EMC requirements and standards
Modelling of the 600V system and simulating/calculating the conducted emission
Provide recommendations for optimal methodology to improve EMC disturbances in the system.



We are looking for a team of two students with knowledge and interest of electromobility. You are curious, open-minded and are interested in collaborating with people with another background than yourself. During the master thesis you are mainly located at our plant in Eskilstuna. About the role


The position is about supporting strategic customer programs and be part of the complete business cycle from insights, offering, selling implementing and follow up called program approach. As a Site Solution Lead you will manage the work, mapping customer processes, analyze productivity data, present improvement recommendations and setting a plan to fulfill agreed business KPIs. You will work with suppliers on a day-to-day basis and do the purchasing for 7 different production sites in Europe such as our hauler and wheel loader sites in Braås and Arvika, our component site in Hallsberg and Eskilstuna and Volvo Powertrain production sites in Sweden and France. You will source new parts to our projects and our production, contribute to develop our business relations with our suppliers and drive- or support in negotiations.


You will also represent purchasing in many different and exiting new development projects and for sourcing of new components to our production. To have good working relations with our suppliers is important, so to meet with them on a regular basis and contribute to develop our supplier strategy is a part of this role.
