Som Produktingenjör/Processingenjör på Outokumpu kommer du att dyka in i en värld av spännande utmaningar och möjligheter:


• Innovation i centrum: Samarbeta med seniora experter för att förbättra processmetoder, förbättra kvaliteten och minska kostnaderna.
• Praktiskt lärande: Skapa och genomföra testplaner, dokumentera förbättringar och driva kontinuerliga förbättringar.
• Projektledning: Delta i banbrytande projekt, arbeta med toppkompetens och leda innovationer inom processmetallurgi, kallvalsning, glödgning och betning.
• Samarbete och tillväxt: Arbeta med universitet, institut och kunder för att utveckla ny teknisk kunskap och framtida teknologier.
• Global exponering: Representera Outokumpu i olika interna och externa uppdrag, inklusive leverantörs- och kundbesök.
• Kontaktnät: Arbeta som länken mellan Sälj och Produktion. Vara teknisk expert och support till Säljorganisationen för att kunna avgöra vad som går att producera. Samt vara teknisk expert till Produktion hur produkten påverkas av olika parametrar.


Vem är du?


• En magisterexamen inom metallurgi och material eller motsvarande erfarenhet.
• 1-3 års erfarenhet i en liknande roll, helst inom metallurgi/materiallära, särskilt inom glödgning, kylning och valsning av rostfritt stål.


• Starka analytiska färdigheter.
• Utmärkta kommunikationsfärdigheter och förmågan att påverka och samarbeta med kollegor och intressenter.
• En talang för teamwork, tidshantering och riskhantering.
• Förmågan att presentera och kommunicera information effektivt till olika målgrupper.

Job description
This is an exciting role that provides you with the circumstances to not only develop your skills and build your career but also have a great impact on Outokumpu as a company. The primary objective is to lead and execute process changes to ensure that we meet the requirements our customers set for our products. You will also partake, or lead product development projects intended to improve the products we have and greatly influence the stainless steel we can produce in the future. You will cooperate closely with professionals in multiple departments across Outokumpu in Nyby.
Additionally, you will participate in a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and become responsible for improvement projects. You will also get an opportunity to share your knowledge in Outokumpu’s international graduate development program called Form your Future.

What we are looking for
To qualify for this role, you will need:
Recent Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Material Technology or equivalent
Maximum 2 years of work experience preferably working with industry furnaces
Training in project management and Maximo/SAP is highly valued
Strong interest to develop cross-functional and international and willingness to travel
High career aspirations with a hands-on attitude and enjoy taking own responsibility
Eagerness to learn and develop and to work in fields new to you
Fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken) is required

JOB DESCRIPTION
Operational responsibility for the team delivery. Delivers according to defined methods, expected inputs and outputs. Lead system engineering in a technical team and play an active role in the delivery. Drive the work from an operational and short-term perspective. Integrate deliveries from others. Responsibility for securing quality and readiness before release. Participate in specification implementation and verification loops to secure system aspects of the solution. Secure that system and non-functional requirements are correctly implemented. Implement system architecture strategies and roadmaps up to the delivery in the end product. Lead concept investigations with teams. Steer exploration of alternatives to establish a system level concept together with teams. Actively support product manager in clarifying needs of capabilities/enablers and breaking down those to features/enablers.

Tasks:
• Establish plans for functional safety
• Take part and support in Functional Hazard Analyze (FHA) and Fault Tree Analyzes (FTA)
• Investigate different error classes and their effects (FMEA)
• Define safety requirements on different safety levels
• Take part in system design and design changes
• Review of safety related analyzes performed by external suppliers
• Create and maintain a Hazard Tracking System
• Define and evaluate safety related verification methods
• Gather evidence/argumentation for functional safety and safety reports (Safety case)
• Define safety case for Safety element out of context system (SEooC)
• Analyze tool chain
• Ensure successful safety assessment


COMPETENCE/ EXPERIENCE:
• BSc or MSc degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Embedded system development
• Requirement management
• Relevant experience of risk and fault analyses of systems
• Relevant knowledge about functional safety standards, for example IEC61508, ISO 13849, ISO26262
• Ability to work as a team member but also independently
